Now that you have set up your blog post series, if you haven’t visit what is a blog series, it’s time to learn how to build keywords and links with blog post series. There are a few reasons why quality keywords are created in your niche field when using a blog post series and I’d like to go over a few.
- Niche Topic = Niche Keyword
It’s only logical to realize that posting about a “word” and repeating that “word” is how you build quality keywords. Focusing on certain terms or phrases within your niche to be picked up by search engines. Now say you start a blog post series about Article Marketing Traffic. Your series will mention the term “article marketing” in every single post a few times just by default. It will be normal to type in the word 4-5 times into your post just due to describing it.
- Daily/Weekly Update = PR Love
As you know if you are talking about something on your blog every single day/week you will be building keywords for it. This does not go unnoticed. When a search engine bot comes to your site on Day 1 and sees “keyword a,b,c” then comes to your site on Day 2 and sees “keyword a,b,c” that automatically throws a sort of question mark that this must be an important “key phrase”. Now you are building highly targeted keywords day in and day out and getting them indexed by search engines. The reinforcement of keywords that a blog series provides is the key here. By having your blog series strung together by daily posts, or set intervals weekly you are building a rhythm of like keywords.
- Articles + Blog Series
By using the tips here about article marketing traffic, which was a 4-5 day blog post series, you will be able to effectively get your blog series links out there. By creating like articles, and if needed rewriting your blog posts into articles, you will be building a viral link pattern through your series. In addition to articles getting indexed with related keywords your articles are all pointing at your related blog post series and their keywords.

Having trouble finding easy free traffic to your site?
- Article Marketing is simple and free traffic to your website. By publishing articles about your niche you are expanding your exposure and impression on the internet as a leading authority of knowledge. Publishing articles allows the company to present quality original content to it’s subscribers. When those subscribers read and share your article you get traffic from back links, ping backs, and track backs created by your article. Articles also helps your search engine page rank, by having a live link to your site in the authors biography/resource box. Article Marketing is easy traffic for the following reasons:
Creating Live Inbound Links
Self-Branding, Authority Image
Reach Subscribed Targeted Audiences
Increased Exposure=Increased Traffic
Chance to create/be featured in an eBook with your articles
- Creating Live Inbound Links
Through your author resource box you are adding in 1-3 links to sites which relate to the author or the article. This helps build in-links/back links to your sites and will affect your search engine page rank in a promising way. Also Live Inbound Links can be obtained by having a user/author profile with the specific company/site which will and can include live links back to your site as well.
- Self-Branding
Self-Branding is just important now as it was 3-5 years ago. By creating a follower and reader base through quality content rich articles written by yourself you will be labeled as an authority in your niche. This takes time to build, but the results are fantastic. Everyone hopes to build a name for themselves in life, either as president/ceo of a company or as an actor/actress, etc. The internet is no different, if you seem like you know what your talking about and people enjoy reading what you have to say they will follow you. Just look at John Chow and ShoeMoney, they have great websites setup with thousands of followers due to self-branding.
- Reach Subscribed Targeted Audiences
Many times when you submit your article to article submission directories they are placed in certain categories. By categorizing articles into certain topics, people know exactly what to expect when they go to the section “Article Marketing”, or “Marketing with Ezine Articles”. This allows you to reach a targeted audience of subscribed readers to your specific topic. It’s important to establish a strong reader base for your articles as they will also be picked up by search engines and can propel your page rank within weeks of being published.
- Increased Exposure = Increased Traffic
If you have a higher search engine page rank your article traffic will increase, which will increase your blog/site traffic, which will then increase your page rank even higher. Okay, that’s in a perfect world. Realistically speaking, you can hope to see about 100-500+ unique visitors a month from a free article submission depending on the topic. If you do a paid submission then you will see a much much larger number.
- Chance to create/be featured in an eBook with your articles
If you publish alot of articles it’s wise to advertise that your articles can be reprinted/included in an eBook with/without your permission dependent on they link back to your site/article. This creates a viral marketing effect, because free eBooks have a very good tendency to spread like wildfire throughout the internet, especially if they are filled with quality content. Another important thing to consider is once you get 5-10 articles/posts on a certain topic you should begin to think about making your own free eBook which can be sent out via email newsletter/or can be sold through your site.

Search Engine Optimization Basics #1
- It’s no secret that everything revolves around SEO. To get any amount of traffic to your site you need to have a good Page Rank(PR) and be spread across a few highly targeted keywords. Conventional sites and blogs alike need to focus on a few main points when considering SEO.
1. What is my niche?
2. What are the keywords in my niche?
3. How can I effectively leverage myself with those keywords?
- 1. What is my niche?
Well, a niche is basically a specific genre or theme your site will focus around. My theme is wealth generation online while leading an active and healthy lifestyle. I can be spread across a few financial niches, such as: make money online, affiliate marketing, network marketing, home based businesses, etc. At the same time my health niches, can and will be: yoga, TriVita, nutrition, heart health, stress, sex, tai chi, etc. Choosing your niche is just a matter of what you want to talk about and how you want to present that information.
- 2. What are the keywords in my niche?
Take the title of your site and plug them into a keyword search. Next take your subject/article headings and plug them in. Try to avoid general keywords. General keywords will provide a challenge because many individuals will be saturating that keyword already. It’s important to focus on a few keywords at a time, to build a strong foundation in each of those keywords.
Some sites to help you search for keywords:

- 3. Leveraging yourself on your keywords
Once you have found 3-4, I say 3-4 because I spend between 3-10 days on 3-4 keywords, highly targeted keywords begin to build upon them. By publishing quality content focused on those keywords your page rank will improve in due time. SEO isn’t a one night thing, it takes time to build certain keywords and takes even longer to reap the rewards of having a high PR. Some free things you can do to help your SEO for certain keywords is articles, tags, squidoo, ebooks, ezines, blog farms, directories, press releases, forums, etc.
