  Okay I know what your thinking, of course blogging isn’t boring.. I mean everybody’s doing it. I understand that, but, lets look at the real perspective of blogging. Furthermore, why do so many people get discourage from blogging?
  Below are a few important notes on the real perspective of blogging:

• Blogging is about writing and you’re not a strong writer.

   Have you determined how strong your writing skill actually are?

• You hate writing.

   Think back to any formal school you have ever been in (high school, trade school, college). Did you ever actually enjoy writing? I still receive 25 page papers due bi-weekly (grad school) and even when I choose the topic I find myself struggling to remain interested.

• You hate what you write about, you dislike the niche your in.

  This has been stated through out the internet hundreds of times: Write about something you care about. Think of your hobbies, your activities, clubs your involved in, your field of work, sports teams, anything really just make sure you enjoy it.

• You have unrealistic goals for your blog

   Hey no one said blogging was easy (and if they did they were probably trying to sell something). Keeping a realistic view with your blog will help you stay active. Way back in March 2009 I wrote a post about Goal Setting Tips which describes how goals must be attainable, meaningful, measurable, and time sensitive. It’s important to remember blogging isn’t a get rich quick scheme you can’t just post a few times a month or year an expect to be the next problogger or perezhilton.

  It’s not all bad news though. Blogging will only be boring for you if you look at it as a chore. When you stop focusing on the task of writing and just focus on interacting with individual within your niche community you will find that blogging will become more enjoyable and will be amazed at the outcome. Just remember blogging coupled with social networks such as facebook, twitter, and mybloglog are also a great way to stay connected and share your ideas/experiences with others.
