I think I can, I think I can

Sometimes feeling unmotivated is not a terrible thing. Although it may come at the worst of times we can work through it and use it to our advantage. First, we have to look at where it stems from. Feeling the lack of motivation come over you can come out of fear. The fear may be an obvious or subconscious feeling within us. If we are tackling an important project that we know must result in perfection, it can be daunting to think of where to begin and what to do. Another reason for a motivation-less attitude could be from stress. If there is too much going on within your life it can be hard to focus on one task. Instead of sitting down to complete one project your mind wanders into the could have, should have, would have thought process of events of the past, present, and future.

No matter what the cause is, we have to go within our minds and listen to what the root cause of motivation is. If we are too tired, then go to sleep. A well rested night can leave you with a clear and organized view of ideas in the morning. Of course, leading a completely rich lifestyle entails listening to our mind and body, and nourishing it as needed. If we are simply stuck for ideas, sometimes retreating from the situation altogether is the best medicine. Go for a walk, take a hike, go to an exotic restaurant, try and new fruit or vegetable. Do something you have never done before. The new experience may lead to a whole variety of thoughts, sensations, and emotions. These feelings may very well give you the nudge you needed to become motivated and brainstorm new ideas. Another form of self help in times like these are to clean your living quarters. Sometimes the clutter within our homes reflects our thought process. We know that we are leaving behind clutter, and dust and that is exactly what is reflected in our work.

Motivation is not always an easy thing to come across. However, the bottom line is, we create our own motivation. Even if we find something inspiring from another person that motivates us to do something, we are still taking it upon ourselves to find motivation in outside sources and use them to aid us. Feeling a lack of motivation may be your body and minds way of telling you that you are doing too much. By acknowledging this thoughtless feeling and deciding to take it easy for a moment and assess what is going on in our lives, we are able to free our minds of stress and clutter. In turn, after we free our minds, we are able to tackle projects and complete the day in a motivational manner. The final result?, gaining another step towards living a completely rich lifestyle.

Learn How to Be Mentally Sound

I want you to take a moment before we focus on your Sunday dose of living a rich, healthy lifestyle, and after reading this paragraph just simply embrace the following words:

”You are waiting in line to pay for your usual Starbucks Mocha Late. Your mind starts to ponder about how lovely it would be to take a much needed vacation. You would love to spend time with your loved one or family, that you so rarely devote enough time to because of work. You are working the hardest you ever have to earn money, and are simply unable to be there for loved ones as you would like to be. In the back of your mind your usual excuse is “I have to work so that I can pay the bills, and provide, but one day I’ll retire to a new lifestyle.” You are still waiting in the Starbucks line, and you begin to envision the warm beach of the vacation you so wish to take. It is theafternoon, and the sun is glowing as the delicious sea blown air enters your body. You take a moment to sigh as you embrace this beautiful moment. You know that tomorrow, all that is on the agenda is to swim, eat delicate food, and soak up the sun.
Just at that moment your heart feels as if it has skipped a beat. It feels as if your chest is becoming tight, and your left side burns like ice. You drop to the floor as everything becomes fuzzy, and you see dozens a people gathering around you. The feeling isunlike anything you’ve felt before. Until it goes black.
You wake upunknowing of where you are. Was it adream? No, you have just survived a transient ischemic attack (TIA), and this the doctor informs you, was a stroke. You are lucky to have had an ex-medic near by who knew just how to save your life until help arrived. Your life, and all that encompasses it, finally hits you. Finally, the hustle, bustle, and “no-time” for anything, but work, has caught up.”

Now take a moment, and embrace this scenario because it happens to thousands of people every year. We live in a society, a place, where we can catch a taxi in under 4 seconds, and eat a meal without notice, in 3minutes. We are concerned with one thing, and one thing only …do it better than the next person. Through all of this we forget to take care of the most important thing, ourselves.
If we do not take time to keep ourselves as I like to call it “mentally sound” then we are unable to perform in the way our lifestyle demands. Can you imagine how much easier it would beto wake up each morning if we took time to organize our nightly tasks in a way so that we were able to get at least eight hours of sleep. One may laugh at the thought of ever seeing eight hours of sleep, but we shouldn’t. This is the one and only time our bodies refuel itself. Our bodies literally repairs damaged done throughout the day, complete digestion for the meals eaten that day, create new cells to keep us going for tomorrow, and even reset our brains to “full.” If your Blackberry cellular phone had one bar of batterylife left, would you race to charge it or would you let it die, and tell it “Maybe I’ll charge you a little today, and little tomorrow.” No, you would not. In fact, I can imagine how many of us carry a phone charger compatible with our cars, laptops, and home adaptor. We fear the thought of losing life to our cell phone, and now is the time to start fearing losing the life to our bodies.
You will never enjoy the money you earn without taking time for yourself to be mentally sound. Whether it is setting aside time to take a hot bath, meditating for as little as 5 minutes, working on a hobby car, making a cup of tea, reading a funny joke, going for a massage, or anything else that brings you peace of mind, you must do it. Being mentally sound will help you to embrace all that you have created, and it will fuel you to obtain any goal. Thank you for joining us.

Sara’s Completely Rich Lifestyle

March 8th, 2009 Sara No comments

Hello and welcome!
I want to take a moment to commend each and every patron who has come this far to take initiative by visiting Nurture Your Wealth.  Not only are you on the path to financial success, but with my help, you will be able to truly reap the benefits of enjoying a financially secure lifestyle.  How is this so?  Well, I am a firm believer in living (what I call) a “completely rich lifestyle.”  I live my life by these powerful words I have developed, and their meaning because without them you will never be a truly rich or wealthy person.  Here is a general break down of what living a completely rich lifestyle entails:

  • You are financially stable
  • You have an emergency money foundation
  • You are not living “Month-to-Month” or “Week-to-Week”
    But MOST OF ALL:

  • You are physically healthy
  • You are mentally sound (healthy)
  • You are emotionally secure
  • Your diet is a healthy one

I am sure you are a bit surprised by what I classify as the most important points of living a completely rich lifestyle. Throughout our blog sessions I will introduce each of these components of living a completely rich lifestyle more in depth.

Let’s take a moment to discuss a personal situation I had witnessed several years ago.  I was working for a Law Firm in which we dealt with many top CEO’s of other companies.  I was the “Middle woman” at the time always going back and forth with a handful of these CEO’s, and got to know a few of them well.  Occasionally my company as well as our client’s would get together for brunch.  Throughout discussion I learned just how unhappy these multi-millionaires were.  First of all, they were working 80 hour weeks.  Secondly, the 80 hour work weeks took a toll not only on their relationships at home, but also their health.  If I had to put a number on how many of our clients were severely overweight or obese (which is classified as having a Body Mass Index of 30 or greater) I would say 6 our of 10 fell into these categories.  That is a terrifying number especially for a well established person who has their entire life to enjoy the financial freedom they have created.  The truth is, many of these people will not live to see their retirement funds because they will die of heart disease, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, depression, and more.

So what does this mean?  This means that we need to take care of our body and minds in a way that will give us the energy to enjoy what we have earned, and motivate us to create news avenues of wealth.  As mentioned earlier, we will discuss each of these principles much more in depth.  I will even explain how you, yourself can easily obtain a completely rich lifestyle, and start earning all that you deserve.  I devote much of my time to finding the top product websites out there because I want to find products that truly work, but also are worth investing in.  These products too, are sure to find their way to our blog sessions as they are another way for you to invest in the completely rich lifestyle.  Thank you for visiting!  All questions and comments are welcomed.

Warmly,
Sara Dawn
